New World Currency on its way.

Today we saw one of the overt steps towards a common global currency. With all of the markets around the world tanking there has been a coordinated interest rate cut. I beleive this will be the beginning of a very strange year where we will see the emergence of a global currency and unexpected alliances among countries. Anybody read the Book of Revelations lately?
